GCopy (or Groovy Copy) is a replacement for the standard "copy" command,
as supplied with AmigaDOS. It works in much the same way, except that GCopy
displays a little "guage" along the top of the CLI window as it copies.
GCopy looks nicer, and you can get an idea of how long you are going to wait
to copy a file. GCopy is fast, just look at these times:
Copied file size From To Time (Secs:100ths)
2020970 Harddisk Ram 02:18 (copy)
01:85 (gcopy)
15872000 Harddisk Harddisk 40:73 (copy)
32:29 (gcopy)
(Test setup: A1200, Blizzard 1230 MkIV with 8 megs fast, Western Digital
Caviar 640MB IDE harddisk)
